About the Event
Come learn about Music Therapy and how it is used in the autism community. Information will be provided on the science behind the therapy and how goals and objectives are set. Feel free to bring your kids to participate in and learn about musical interventions. Learn how to engage with your children musically at home!
Our featured speaker is Brittany McElveen. She is a board certified music therapist with a passion for working with children. She is also a registered behavior technician.Â
Ms.McElveen graduated from the University of Evansville in Indiana with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Music Therapy.  She is currently continuing her education by pursuing a Master’s Degree in Behavior Analysis.Â
