Felicia Ford

Ms. Felicia Ford is the Founder and Presidentof the Freddie Ford Family Foundation.  She is the daughter of Freddie Ford, a man who dedicated his life in service to others as a police officer as well as to his country as a member of the U.S. Navy.   Ms. Ford has been married to her husband, John Bailey, since 2005 and they have 3 boys. 

 

As a parent of a child with autism, she is uniquely qualified to lead an organization that aims to assist families impacted by autism.  She recognizes the emotional support that is necessary for parents to manage the stress of having special needs children as well as the reality of how expensive therapies can be.  Ms. Ford is extremely passionate about ensuring under-served families are able to receive early intervention and a diagnosis in a timely manner.  
 

Ms. Ford is an attorney and has been a member in good standing of the Missouri Bar Association since 2004.


Ms. Ford attended Murray State University, in Murray Kentucky on an athletic scholarship for track and field.  She graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science.  She attended Western Michigan University Cooley Law School in Lansing, Michigan where she earned her Juris Doctor degree.  She is a native of Cape Girardeau, Missouri.  As a former high school track standout, she was inducted into the Cape Girardeau Central Senior High School Hall of Fame in 2016. 


Her duties are spelled out in the bylaws, and include managing the day-to-day business of the organization, attending meetings of the board of directors.
