Can't run but want to support the 5th Annual Heroes for Autism 5K and Mile? Come out and help spread awareness and acceptance of autism enjoy music, games, bounce house, vendors, and enjoy beer and pizza for donations.
Even if you can't participate by running with us at the park, there are still plenty of ways you can contribute and make a difference. Here are some suggestions on how you can support the event:
Participate in the virtual event: Register to run or walk on your own time, in your favorite place, with your friends and family.
Volunteer: Contact the event organizers and offer your assistance as a volunteer. We may need help with setting up and dismantling the event, manning information booths, guiding participants, or organizing activities.
Spread the word: Use your social media platforms or any other channels available to you to promote the event and raise awareness about autism. Share the event details, its purpose, and encourage others to participate or donate.
Make a donation: Even if you can't attend, you can still make a monetary contribution to the cause. Visit www.freddiefordfamilyfoundation.org to make a donation. You could also consider reaching out to your network, friends, and family to collect donations on behalf of the event.
Offer support services: If you have any skills or expertise that could be of help to the event, consider offering your services. If you're a photographer or videographer, you could offer to capture the event's highlights.
Attend and participate in non-running activities: While the main focus of the event may be the 5K run and mile, there are other activities taking place simultaneously. Attend the event and enjoy the music, games, bounce houses, meet the vendors, eat pizza, and enjoy a beer By participating and showing your support, you help create a positive and inclusive atmosphere.
We would live to have you join us even if you don't run. Your presence is support too.❤️
