Mrs. Jennifer Shoemate serves as a board member.  She is a speech-language pathologist licensed to practice in the state of Illinois.  

 

Mrs. Shoemate earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Communication Disorders and Sciences from Southeast Missouri State and Master of Science degree in Speech Pathology from Southern Illinois University at Carbondale.  

 

Mrs. Shoemate has clinical experience with both adult and pediatric populations in a variety of settings, including brain injury rehabilitation, hospital, and early intervention.  She has worked both individually and as part of an interdisciplinary team to provide services.  Jennifer has performed diagnosis and treatment in the areas of expressive/receptive/pragmatic language, cognitive disorders, dysphagia/swallowing, augmentative and alternative communication (AAC), apraxia, articulation, and fluency.

 

Mrs. Shoemate is the mother of two wonderful children.  She reside with husband of 23 years and their two children in Vienna, IL.
